What eScreen is - and who owns it

eScreen is Abbott's occupational health testing platform: the eCup rapid device, the eScreen results portal, and the certified collection-site network behind it. Abbott owns and operates eScreen. 365 EasyScreen is a partner that buys from and orders on that network, which is how our clients get Abbott-grade technology without contracting or managing it themselves.

How an eScreen test works

Ordering is electronic from start to finish, so nothing depends on a paper form arriving in the mail.

  • You submit the donor's name and email; we send the electronic authorization
  • The donor picks a nearby collection site and tests, usually without an appointment
  • The eCup reads the specimen on site and negatives post electronically
  • Non-negatives are sent to a SAMHSA-certified lab for confirmation
  • A Medical Review Officer reviews and releases the final result

Panels and services available

The same account covers the panels most employers actually need, so you are not juggling vendors by test type.

  • 5-panel and 10-panel urine drug screens
  • DOT panels under 49 CFR Part 40
  • Hair follicle testing for extended detection windows
  • Breath and lab-based alcohol testing
  • Physicals, DOT physicals, and occupational health services

Why employers order eScreen through us

Buying the technology is the easy part. Running a defensible program is the hard part. We handle the account setup, the random pool, the Clearinghouse queries, the recordkeeping, and the phone call when a supervisor needs an answer at 6 a.m.

  • Program setup in days, not weeks
  • One point of contact for HR, safety, and operations
  • Audit-ready documentation stored and retrievable
  • Transparent per-test pricing with no surprise fees

Questions

Frequently asked

What is eScreen?
eScreen is Abbott's drug testing technology and collection-site network. It combines the eCup rapid test device, the eScreen online portal, and a nationwide network of certified collection sites so employers can order, track, and receive results in one place.
Is 365 EasyScreen part of the eScreen network?
Yes. 365 EasyScreen is a partner that orders and manages testing on the Abbott eScreen network. Abbott owns and operates eScreen; we set up your account, manage your program, and handle compliance and support.
How fast are eScreen results?
Negative rapid eCup results are commonly available in minutes at the collection site and post electronically the same day. Non-negative results go to a certified laboratory and then to a Medical Review Officer, which typically adds 24 to 72 hours.
How many eScreen collection sites are there?
365 EasyScreen clients can send donors to close to 20,000 collection sites across the United States, so most employees test near their home or job site.
Can I use eScreen for DOT testing?
Yes. DOT-regulated drug and alcohol testing is performed under 49 CFR Part 40 with MRO review, and we handle FMCSA Clearinghouse reporting as a registered C/TPA.
